Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Respect and Care Manager, the Office Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day operations including processing paperwork that comes in via email or fax. Most importantly, ensuring all client packets are processed and communication to Case Managers and cross functional departments. 

Compensation:
$36,000 - $40,000

Essential Duties:

  • Attend to all incoming paperwork that comes in via fax or email
  • Type and send out and process all new admissions, reassessments, and changes in care 
  • Upload all new client admissions with corresponding paperwork to drive
  • Request and Upload Reassessment Packets in appropriate folder
  • Understands and adheres to established Primecare Home Care Services policies and procedure
  • Update Client Compliance in EMR Software (Such as Loc/Appendix F, CCSP Care Plan, Prior Authorization, H2T, Admissions, etc.)
  • Understand all process functions. (EDWPs, Service Agreement, Hospitalization, New Client, New Employee, etc.)
  • Input, Audit, and Review Client records
  • Understand Primecare system
  • File Client’s records electronically
  • Observes legal and ethical guidelines for safeguarding the confidentiality of patient proprietary information.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for service, and evaluation of customer service. 
  • Communicate all Services on Hold, Hospitalizations, and services resume to appropriate staff via Google Chat and Email.
  • Communicate with Support and Care Coordinators via EDWP Forms, etc.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competences:
  • Must be computer proficient and possess experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Able to establish and maintain cooperative and positive working relationships
  • Organized, detail-oriented, courteous, proactive, self-motivated, dependable, and customer service driven.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience answering inbound phone calls and knowledge of multi-line phone systems
  • Experience with the creation of reports and faxes and the ability to perform data entry required.
  • Medical Terminology is helpful, but not required.
